Areej Vegetable Oils & Derivatives SAOG (AVOD) is a Public Limited Company. It has a modern hygienic plant and manufactures and markets quality Cooking Oils, Ghee, Margarine, Specialty Fats, Butter products, Mayonnaise and Dressing.

AVOD products are marketed in the GCC as well as in other countries across the globe through distributors. Strategic location of the factory enables the products to reach international markets in the shortest period and at the cheapest transportation costs.

In Oman, the Company is a market leader with brands like Minara, Sohar, Khafeef, Jabal Akhdar, Sohar Mayonnaise and Muscat Margarine. AVOD’s latest product innovation is the launch of Khafeef, the Lightest Frying Oil in a great new revolutionary pack.

To maintain high standards of hygiene, the packing materials, including tin cans, plastic bottles, etc. are manufactured within the factory. AVOD meets all local as well as international standards – for manufacturing top quality edible oils, and for disposal of solid, liquid and gaseous effluents.
